BASIS International Ltd. announces the release of PRO/5® 4.1 and Visual PRO/5® 4.1.

New in PRO/5 and Visual PRO/5, the OPEN verb now supports a PASSWD= mode option for recoverable multi-keyed files. This option provides increased security preventing unauthorized BASIC programs from reading or writing private data records. Additionally, it is now evident when an outside source attempts to tamper with private data.

Also available in Visual PRO/5 is the new automatic license registration and installation feature. BASIS simplified the FLEXlm licensing process with a one-step licensing option. With an Internet connection, BASIS's licensing is as simple as point and click, saving time and money.
