DISC Orders US$22,000 Worth of BASIS ODBC Drivers™

DISC, a leading BASIS ISV, ordered more than US$22,000 worth of BASIS ODBC Drivers and data servers. According to Phil Cowdery, domestic sales manager, "DISC has found ways to really utilize the power of ODBC technology in their software. Last summer, they set out to use the BASIS ODBC Driver and PRO/5 Data Server™ in a totally new Windows-based report writing module for their industrial distribution software. By fall, they were ready to announce the product to their customers at their conference."

The response by DISC's customers to the report writer was very positive, and contributed to IBM's recognition of DISC as one of their thirty Premier Business Partners in the US. "BASIS is proud to have contributed to DISC's success," says Cowdery.
